Old Dominion star guard Jennie Simms has been named Conference USA's Player of the Week.
The fifth-year senior scored 33 points in a loss to Duke on Nov. 22, the most the Blue Devils have allowed this season. Simms scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds against North Carolina Central on Sunday to snap ODU's two-game losing streak.
Simms leads C-USA in scoring with 24.3 points per game. She was C-USA's Player of the Week twice last season.
