NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Old Dominion University’s football team is headed to the Bahamas Bowl.
This is the first bowl game in the school’s history.
Director of Athletics Dr. Wood Selig made the announcement Monday morning, a couple days after ODU’s victory over FIU. The Monarchs finished the season 9-3 overall and 7-1 in Conference USA.
The third annual Popeyes Bahamas Bowl will be played on Friday, December 23 at 1 p.m. on ESPN.
