An in-state target for Oklahoma and Oklahoma State added a big scholarship offer to his impressive list over the weekend.
Tulsa Memorial defensive end Isaiah Thomas was offered by defending national champion Alabama.
Thomas, who is a 6-foot-5, 230-pound junior, tweeted news of the offer.
Thomas now has 16 scholarship offers, including Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Nebraska and Missouri.
Thomas could follow the path of another local product. Tulsa McLain’s Joshua Jacobs signed with Alabama on National Signing Day in February as a running back, choosing the Crimson Tide over the Sooners.
