OSU football journal: Cowboys leave Bedlam with early-game regrets

NORMAN – The Cowboys dominated the first quarter… statistically.

The Cowboys ran 14 times for 118 yards in the quarter, holding the Sooners to two yards on nine carries. OSU outgained their Bedlam rival 122-40, forced punts on OU's first three possessions, operated with premium field position and reached Sooner territory on three of four possessions.

And led just 3-0.

Regrettable?
