Mike Boynton deserves the same amount of support from Oklahoma State basketball fans Brad Underwood initially had.
After sitting with Boynton for little more than an hour Saturday, I can see how he could kill his interview and why he got the job.
Boynton is personable. I learned more about the person Mike Boynton in the hour I sat with him than I learned about the person Brad Underwood in the numerous availabilities I went to during his 362 days in Stillwater.
I know Boynton’s wife, Jenny, is a dietitian. I know he grew up in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, and the first time he took Jenny there he told her how rough it was only to find it was cleaned up and had an Abercrombie and Fitch in the area.
