STILLWATER — Darius Curry signed with Oklahoma State in 2013, following in the footsteps of his older brother, C.J., who joined the Cowboys in 2012.
C.J., the receiver, and Darius, the cornerback, were each highly recruited prospects from Flowery Branch, Ga. But following the 2015 season, neither had developed into consistent playmakers outside special teams.
C.J. left the program before 2016 spring practice. Darius hung around, and now, it appears the decision might pay off this fall. For the first time since arriving in Stillwater, Curry finds himself on the two-deep roster — behind cornerback Ramon Richards.
