Larry Reece, Oklahoma State's public address announcer and senior associate athletic director, announced the news in a tweet Friday afternoon:
We just got out of my doctor's appointment at MDA.
Good news... throat looks great! Cancer FREE!

Reece was diagnosed with throat cancer in December 2014. Seven months later, he announced was cancer-free via Twitter.
Reece will continue his duties as Boone Pickens Stadium's announcer Sept. 3 when the Cowboys open their season against Southeastern Louisiana.
