Gundy moves on to Texas by morning alarm

The Oklahoma State Cowboys suffered a 35-24 loss to the Baylor Bears in Waco, Texas.

Gundy’s regular morning alarm stirred him from a rest that hadn’t lasted 3 ½ hours. After the Cowboys lost to Baylor late Saturday night, he didn’t return to his home in Stillwater until about 2:50 a.m. He was asleep by 3:15.

He was noticeably frustrated after the game. Turnovers and big plays from the Bears’ offense dropped OSU to 2-2. But Gundy said he didn’t want to spend any time stressing about that come Sunday.

“I know this: If on Sunday, I spend one second worrying about it, that’s just one more second I’m wasting my time getting ready for Texas,” he said.
