Oklahoma State coach Kenny Gajewski told freshman Hayleigh Galvan she would be pinch-hitting in the bottom of the seventh inning with a chance to tie the game.

Galvan did not bat an eye.

In the OSU softball team's come-from-behind 10-9 victory against the Texas Longhorns on Sunday afternoon in Cowgirl Stadium, Galvan’s two-run home run gave the Cowgirls a chance at a comeback with historic implications.

The game-tying shot was the first of Galvan's OSU (22-11 overall, 3-0 Big 12) career and a catalyst for the Cowgirls’ first-ever sweep of Texas (17-14, 0-3).

In the post-game interview, Vanessa Shippy hugged Galvan and told her how proud she was.
