Freeman was named onto the Louisville Slugger All-America Second Team on Thursday for his efforts during the 2015 season.
This is the third postseason award Freeman has received in May. The lefty was awarded Big 12 Conference Pitcher of the Year last week and was also named to the Big 12 All-Tournament Team Sunday.
Freeman posted a 1.05 ERA during his senior campaign. He compiled a 10-2 record in 14 starts, which included four complete games. Freeman also sat down 92 batters on strikes while holding opposing hitters to a .183 average in 102.
