Oklahoma won the Big 12 tonight and, in all likelihood, clinched a spot in the College Football Playoff.
The Sooners (11-1) beat Oklahoma State (10-2), 58-23, giving Bob Stoops’ program a conference championship. The win also locks up a CFB Playoff spot for his program, which was ranked No. 3 in last week’s poll.
As the clock neared zero tonight, Oklahoma’s players dosed Stoops with Gatorade to celebrate the win.
Oklahoma now gets to sit back and wait for the College Football Playoff field to be unveiled next Sunday.
