Sooners get commit from Tulsa Memorial defensive end

Oklahoma picked up another in-state commitment for its 2017 class Saturday when Tulsa Memorial defensive end Isaiah Thomas announced his decision to go to OU.

Thomas chose the Sooners over Oklahoma State, Missouri and Tennessee among others.

Thomas (6-foot-5, 230 pounds) is the fourth recruit from the state from the class to commit to the Sooners, joining Collinsville's Levi Draper, John Marshall's Justin Broiles and Tulsa Union's Tre Brown.

He's the 13th 2017 commitment for the Sooners, who are No. 2 behind Ohio State in Rivals' team rankings for the class.
