Oklahoma hosted ESPN's college basketball version of "College Gameday" only one time before Saturday.
That was Jan. 28, 2006, when then-No. 24 Oklahoma topped a No. 4 Texas, 82-72. The Sooners face another top ten team in No. 6 Kansas with ESPN's on-site college basketball show in Norman, Okla., but the Sooners are ranked No. 3 and on track to win a Big 12 regular season title.
Oklahoma students were camped out and lined up outside of the Lloyd Noble Center a day before the airing of the show and the weekend's biggest game.
