Power Lunch Chat with OU writer Ryan Aber

JAN 10, 2017 - NORMAN — Maybe it was Jordan Woodard's return. Maybe it was a home game against the premier program in the Big 12 and the No. 2-ranked team in the country. Whatever it was, Lloyd Noble Center showed plenty of life Tuesday night both on the court and in the stands, though it wasn't enough to stop Oklahoma's losing streak as the Sooners fell to Kansas 81-70 in front of 6,638 fans. The loss was the Sooners' seventh consecutive, the longest in Lon Kruger's tenure as OU coach. “It was a good opening 20, for sure,” Kruger said.
