In two of the final three days of the NFL Draft, a team had to defend the selection of an Oklahoma football player.

On Friday, the Cincinnati Bengals defended the second-round pick of running back Joe Mixon, who took a plea deal in a 2014 assault involving a woman. On Saturday, the Jacksonville Jaguars told reporters why the team picked Oklahoma wide receiver and Heisman finalist Dede Westbrook in the fourth round of the draft.

“I think we all have been accused of things, not all of us, but many of us have been accused of things,” Jags general manager Dave Caldwell told reporters.
