Bob Stoops, Dede Westbrook, Orlando Brown take home individual honors while seven Sooners named to All-Big 12 first team

Oklahoma WR Dede Westbrook, OT Orlando Brown and coach Bob Stoops were honored individually Wednesday as 12 OU players were named to All-Big 12 teams when the conference announced its annual awards.

Selections were made by league coaches, who were not allowed to vote for their own players.

Stoops was named coach of the year for the second season in a row and sixth time overall. Westbrook garnered offensive player of the year honors while Brown was tabbled offensive lineman of the year.

All-Big 12 first team:

TE Mark Andrews, OL Orlando Brown, LB Jordan Evans, QB Baker Mayfield, RB Joe Mixon, CB Jordan Thomas, WR Dede Westbrook

All-Big 12 second team:

FB Dimitri Flowers, LB Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, RB Samaje Perine, DL Jordan Wade, KR/PR Dede Westbrook

Honorable mention:

OL Bobby Evans, S Steven Parker, OL Ben Powers, OL Dru Samia, S Ahmad Thomas, OL Erick Wren
