Thunder Take 3-1 Series Lead With 119-108 Win Over Mavericks

The Oklahoma City Thunder are now just one game away from advancing to the second round of the NBA Playoffs. The Thunder took a commanding 3-1 series lead Saturday with a 119-108 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

OKC led by 15 after the first quarter, but couldn't put away the Mavs until late. Dallas managed to keep the deficit around 10 points for much of the second half, but was unable to pull out the needed win.

The Thunder had strong contributions from their supporting cast, with six players scoring double figures. Enes Kanter had a team-best 28 points off the bench on 12 of 13 shooting. He had 16 points in the fourth quarter alone. Dion Waiters had 12 points and four rebounds.

Russell Westbrook had a double-double with 25 points and 15 assists. Kevin Durant added 19 points, but was ejected late after a flagrant 2 foul. It's the first time he hasn't reached at least 20 points since Nov. 2015.

Dirk Nowitzki carried the Mavs, putting up 27 points and eight rebounds. Raymond Felton added 19 points and 10 assists, while Wesley Matthews had 18 points. Deron Williams played just one minute after aggravating his sports hernia. He was questionable to play and there's a chance he's now done for the series.

Game 5 of the series is Monday in Oklahoma City. Tip off is set for 8 p.m. ET.
