These Golden State Warriors have been down before. En route to the NBA championship last season, the Warriors trailed 2-1 to both Memphis in the West semifinals and Cleveland in the NBA Finals. So Golden State won’t panic just because it trails the Thunder 2-1 in these Western Conference finals.
“Pretty much exactly the same,” Warrior coach Steve Kerr said. “You're down 2-1, you're in a hole. You've got to win on the road, so it's the same feeling.”
Except it’s not. The Grizzlies and Cavaliers took 2-1 leads by playing big, slowing down and mashing the smallish Warriors.
