Thunder News: (VIDEO) Russell Westbrook's sick reverse dunk helps finish Spurs' streak

Thunder news became NBA news on Thursday in OKC, as the Oklahoma City Thunder ended the San Antonio Spurs' 19-game winning streak by a count of 106-94.

Russell Westbrook showed no evidence of a recent sprain to his oft-injured right knee, posting 27 points, six assists, and four steals -- one of which led to a insane reverse dunk in transition --

Kevin Durant shook off a 4-for-13 start in the first half, scoring twelve in the third quarter en route to pacing the OKC Thunder with 28 points and seven rebounds. This marks the 39th straight game in which Durant has scored 25 points or more, placing him just a single game behind Michael Jordan's modern-day record of 40 -- a feat which His Airness accomplished twice (1986-87 and 1988).

Oklahoma City's victory narrows the Spurs' lead over the Thunder for best record in the Western Conference to three, with just two games separating the teams in the loss column.

The Spurs have six games remaining (three at home), while the Thunder have eight contests left with just two of those coming in the friendly confines of the Chesapeake Energy Arena.
