Reggie Jackson expected to play Game 5 in tonight's latest Thunder news

The last few days in Thunder news have been very focused on the health of the squad, with Serge Ibaka's return from a calf injury dominating national headlines.

However, it is Reggie Jackson's status which had Thunder fans holding their breath after Game 4.

The team's starting shooting guard went down with a right ankle sprain in the first quarter of Tuesday's contest. He returned in the second quarter and started the second half, but he was left noticeably limping  - leading to intense speculation over his status for the rest of the series.

However, per Barry Tramel and Anthony Slater of NewsOK.com, Jackson asserted in the locker room after Game 4 that he would be ready to go for Thursday's Game 5. Head coach Scott Brooks echoed Jackson's assertion:

“I spoke with him,” Brooks stated. “He's feeling pretty good. He will get treatment throughout the day and then tomorrow, but he's feeling pretty good today.”

Barring anything unforeseen, Jackson is slated to start in San Antonio come tomorrow night.
