3 Free Agents The Oklahoma City Thunder Should Pursue This Offseason

The Oklahoma City Thunder just missed out on the 2015 NBA Playoffs, but the time is now to put that in the rearview and focus on the out-of-house free-agent options the team could consider this summer. Here's 3 Free Agents The Oklahoma City Thunder Should Pursue This Offseason.

SF Mike Dunleavy Jr.

Kyle Singler is clearly not the solution to the "who should backup Kevin Durant" question. Dunleavy is a great Weapon X to have when the team needs to give Durant a rest, and he's skilled enough as a defender to add some lockdown skills in the mid-range. If they don't want to pay for Dunleavy, keep an eye on Minnesota's Chase Budinger as a budget option.

PG JJ Barea

DJ Augustin was ice cold down the stretch for the Thunder, so it may be in the best interest for the Thunder to begin sifting through free-agent backup point guard options. Barea said recently that he'd like to return to Dallas if they want him, but the speedy veteran guard may be drawn to the allure of doing work in relief of one of the game's most dynamic point guards, Russell Westbrook.

PG Mo Williams

A solid veteran replacement for DJ Augustin, Williams has filled it up year after year as a volume scorer. He'd be a nice change-of-pace option behind Westbrook and his on-court leadership capabilities would provide a huge boost to a supporting cast that seemed to flag during some key stretches at the end of the regular season.
