Ohio State football | Tulane added to Buckeyes' 2018 schedule

Ohio State announced today that it will play Tulane in 2018, closing a void in the Buckeyes’ schedule that had been difficult to fill.

The game is scheduled for Sept. 22, a week after the Buckeyes travel to play Texas Christian and a week before they play at Penn State.

The Green Wave has had little success historically. The New Orleans school was 3-9 the last two seasons under Curtis Johnson. Tulane has had one winning season in 13 years, a 7-6 record in 2013.

Tulane plays in the American Athletic Conference and has a new coach, Willie Fritz, who was 17-7 the past two seasons at Georgia Southern.
