Ohio State home opener against its most daunting nonconference opponent is set to kick off under the lights.
The Buckeyes host the Oklahoma Sooners on Sept. 9 at Ohio Stadium, a game that is scheduled for an 7:30 p.m. start time, the schools announced Thursday. The game is set for broadcast on ABC.
Ohio State rode into Norman last season and left with a 45-24 victory against Baker Mayfield, Bob Stoops and Co. on the back of four touchdown passes from J.T. Barrett to Noah Brown. That game was also set for an 8 p.m. start on FOX, though kickoff was delayed for about an hour due to weather.
