Men's basketball | Third concussion ends Jake Lorbach's OSU career

Ohio State’s lone senior won’t be suiting up again for the Buckeyes.

Today, coach Thad Matta said that walk-on Jake Lorbach will not play again for the team after suffering the third concussion of his career during the preseason.

“Jake is done,” Matta said. “He had his third concussion a month and a half ago or something. We’re just going to shut him down. He’s still part of the team. He’s not even practicing with us now, but he’s at practice every day and he’s a great kid.”

In three seasons, Lorbach made 19 appearances totaling 31 minutes for the Buckeyes and scoring eight points.
