Ohio State Keeps Big Ten Hopes Alive, Blows Out Michigan 42-13

The Ohio State Buckeyes rebounded from last week's loss to Michigan State in a big way, dominating the Michigan Wolverines in the Big House on their way to a convincing 42-13 victory.

Quarterback J.T. Barrett led the way for OSU, passing for 113 yards and a touchdown while rushing for another 139 yards and three more scores. Running back Ezekiel Elliott also played extremely well after his controversial comments last week, racking up 214 yards and two touchdowns on just 30 carries.

QB Jake Rudock played well for Michigan, throwing for 263 yards and a touchdown before leaving with an injured shoulder - however, he didn't get any help on the ground as no Michigan player ran for more than 29 yards. Ohio State's 42 points is also the most the Wolverines' defense has given up all year.

Despite their loss to Michigan State last week, the Buckeyes can still make the Big Ten Championship Game if the Spartans lose to Penn State later this afternoon.

Ohio State also isn't out of the College Football Playoff picture. They should jump up from their No. 8 ranking after beating No. 10 Michigan in blowout fashion, and could have a chance for another signature win if they face an undefeated Iowa team in the Big Ten title game.

Michigan now finishes the regular season with a 9-3 record in head coach Jim Harbaugh's first season with the team.
