Ohio State CB Damon Webb Reinstated To Football Team, Will Play Saturday

Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer has reinstated cornerback Damon Webb to the football team, according to Eleven Warriors.

"Cam Burrows and Erick Smith are down for the year, and Damon is a guy that was playing well for us and that we have a lot of trust in," Meyer said. "That's a big plus, as well as having him available for special teams."

Webb was suspended before Ohio State's game against Northern Illinois for a violation of the athletics department's policy.

He made eight tackles as the Buckeyes' nickel cornerback against Virginia Tech and Hawaii prior to being suspended. He will play Saturday against Minnesota.
