The Ohio State women's basketball team will travel to Brazil for a 10-day tour in August that includes three games.
The Buckeyes will spend Aug. 6-16 traveling between the cities of Sao Paolo, Americana and Rio de Janeiro.
Foreign trips allow teams extra summer practice time, per NCAA rules. In this case, coach Kevin McGuff and his staff will have 10 practices to prepare the team before leaving Columbus.
"I'm really excited to have the opportunity to take our team on such a great trip," McGuff said in a university release. "We'll get 10 days of practice, which is beneficial for our young team.
