Ohio State vs. Indiana Preview and Prediction

Fresh off a big win over Minnesota, the Ohio State Buckeyes host Indiana with their sights set on clinching at least a share of the Big Ten East title.

Records:

Ohio State: 9-1 (6-0 Big Ten)

Indiana: 3-7 (0-6 Big Ten)

Last Meeting: Ohio State won 42-14 in 2013

Ohio State Outlook: The Buckeyes escaped Minnesota with a close 31-24 victory to set themselves up to win the Big Ten if they can win their final two games of the regular season.

Quarterback phenom J.T. Barrett has taken the offensive production into his own hands as the season has gone on. After posting four touchdowns and 389 total yards against Minnesota, Barrett has an incredible 38 touchdowns and 3,127 total yards this season.

The Buckeyes are two wins away from going undefeated in the conference for the second time in three years.

Indiana Outlook: The Hoosiers have struggled this season, going 0-6 in the Big Ten so far. They've also lost five straight coming into this game.

One of the bright spots for Indiana has been running back Tevin Coleman, who was rushed for 1,678 yards and 12 touchdowns this year to lead the offense in both categories.

What to watch for: J.T. Barrett is easily the most noteworthy player to watch in this matchup. Barrett has shown tremendous poise in huge games this year, and while Indiana shouldn't pose the same threat as teams like Michigan State and Minnesota, Barrett still needs to be on his game.

Expect Barrett to continue his incredible dominance and once again lead the Buckeyes offense in production.

What they're saying:

Braxton Miller still planning to return in 2015 (Land-Grant Holy Land)

By the numbers: Indiana (Men of the Scarlett and Gray)

Prediction:

Ohio State - 45, Indiana - 13

The Buckeyes are rolling coming into this game, and a home date against Indiana is likely going to keep that momentum going. Ohio State would need an absolute meltdown to be upset by the Hoosiers.
