Ohio State Football Recruiting: Five-Star OL Deciding Between Buckeyes And Notre Dame

The Ohio State Buckeyes are in hot pursuit of Class of 2016 five-star offensive tackle Liam Eichenberg, but they're receiving stiff competition from Notre Dame, according to 247sports:

Eichenberg knows about the depth charts at each school and knows the Buckeyes took six 2015 offensive linemen and Notre Dame took just three. He also knows if he picks Ohio State he is going to win big and that is important to him. So we checked in with someone that is in tune with Eichenberg.

“It is going to be one tough decision for him,” our source said. “He knows both are great schools. I know he is going back and forth. What I don’t know is which way he is going to go. Liam will visit each school at least one more time with his family and they will have a lot to think about. Once he makes his decision I think it will be final. But until then it is anybody’s guess which way it will go.”

The Cleveland native already has prototypical size at 6'6" and 290 pounds, and has the athleticism to play every position on the line.
