Ohio State Football Recruiting: Buckeyes, Irish, Wolverines To Host Coveted 2018 OL Prospect

The Ohio State Buckeyes are one of three top programs who will host coveted 2018 offensive guard prospect Emil Ekiyor within the next week.

Per Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, "the 6-foot-3, 285-pound Ekiyor tells 247Sports he'll visit Ohio State on Tuesday, Michigan on Thursday and Notre Dame that Saturday."

Ekiyor started every game for Indianapolis (Ind.) Cathedral en route to a state championship. Showcasing extraordinary size and quickness for his age, he has quickly piqued the interest of several major conference programs, including the defending champion Buckeyes.

In addition to his versatility as a big man on the field, Ekiyor was also member of his high school's varsity basketball team. However, his body type means he'll likely be recruiting as a one-sport (football) prospect only, unless he decides to slim down a bit to pursue a basketball scholarship.
