Men's basketball: Westerville South's Kaleb Wesson commits to Ohio State

Kaleb Wesson, a 6-foot-8 center who will be a junior for Westerville South next season, announced on Twitter on Friday that he has committed to Ohio State.

"I am so blessed and thankful to say that I am committing to THE Ohio State University," Wesson tweeted, adding as a hastag "work starts now."

Wesson averaged 11.5 points and helped the Wildcats go 27-2 and reach the Division I championship game in March, where they lost to Huber Heights Wayne. He also is an offensive lineman in football and had drawn interest from Division I programs.

Wesson's father, Keith, also played basketball at Ohio State in the mid-1980s.
