4 Ohio State Football True Freshmen Who Could Be Difference Makers In 2015

The Ohio State Buckeyes have plenty of veteran playmakers returning on both sides of the ball, but they also have an influx of young true-freshman talent that could make a major impact this coming season. Here's 4 Ohio State Football True Freshmen Who Could Be Difference Makers In 2015.

OLB Justin Hilliard

A 6'0", 225-pound beast, Hilliard was the nation's consensus #2 outside linebacker in the Class of 2015, but he also has the versatility to play inside. Urban Meyer won't be able to keep the uber-talented Hilliard on the sidelines this season, regardless of the fact that linebackers Joshua Perry, Darron Lee and Raekwon McMillan are all returning to the mix.

DE Jashon Cornell

Cornell has a leg up on most other freshmen after having participated in the team's spring practices, and he's going to have a great shot at getting a bunch of snaps across from Joey Bosa with Steve Miller having graduated. Defensive line coach Larry Johnson love to rotate talent series to series, so expect the dynamic 6'4", 260-pounder to have plenty of chances to make a name for himself in 2015.

WR Alex Stump

The Ohio State Buckeyes have a wealth of receiving talent from the past two recruiting classes, but the four-star Stump will still likely see a prominent role on the special teams unit. In addition, Stump's size and speed makes him a versatile option both on the outside and in the slot, so there's the possibility that he could slowly but surely move his way up the wideout corps depth chart as the season goes on.

ATH Torrance Gibson

Gibson prefers to play quarterback, but there's almost zero chance that he'll find playing time under center with the trio of Cardale Jones, JT Barrett and Braxton Miller heading up the depth chart. However, he's the complete package as an athlete and could be a major home-run threat on designed sweeps and as a receiver on the perimeter.
