3 Reasons Why Ohio State Is GUARANTEED To Beat Minnesota This Weekend

The Ohio State Buckeyes may have dropped to No. 3 in the country, but that has only added more fuel to their fire, and they plan to take out all of their frustration on Minnesota this weekend. Here are three reasons why Ohio State is guaranteed to knock off the Golden Gophers:

3) Ohio State's plethora of weapons

Obviously there is no such thing as too many weapons, but the Buckeyes have weapons galore. Ezekiel Elliott is one of the best running backs in the country, and wideouts Jalin Marshall, Michael Thomas, and Braxton Miller have proven to be extremely explosive. Add in the rushing ability of Cardale Jones, and Ohio State's offense looks to be unstoppable.

2) Minnesota's atrocious offense

Ohio State's defense is one of the best and most talented in the country, and Minnesota's offense, well, is not. The Golden Gophers rank 82nd in the country in passing yards, 88th in rushing yards, and 98th in points scored per game. Ohio State is obviously the best team Minnesota has played this season, though, so there's no reason to think that offense will suddenly turn things around against the Buckeyes.

1) Long-time success vs. Minnesota

The Buckeyes have won eight straight games in this season, and have only lost once to Minnesota since 1981. Ohio State has always had the Golden Gophers' number, and that's not going to change this weekend in the Horseshoe.
