3 Reasons Why Ohio State Is Guaranteed To Beat Michigan

There are very few guarantees in the game of football, but when it comes to the Ohio State Buckeyes' rivalry game in Ann Arbor against the Michigan Wolverines this week, we've found an exception to the rule. Here's 3 Reasons Why Michigan Is GUARANTEED To Beat The Ohio State.

3. Defense

Michigan's offense has busted out of its shell as of late, but the athletes on this Ohio State defense are too good and too motivated to allow this largely unproven group of Wolverines to run rampant over them. This is the Buckeyes defense's marquee test of the season (so far). We'll be shocked if they don't pass with flying colors.

2. Complete Dominance

No matter how good Michigan has been purported to be over the past decade or so, they're simply unable to get over the Ohio State hump. The Buckeyes have won three straight and 10 of 11 in the series -- perhaps the most dominant stretch for the Buckeyes since this rivalry's inception. Jim Harbaugh or not, the Buckeyes are in the Wolverines' heads.

1. Urban Meyer

The Buckeyes head coach isn't going to let his team completely disintegrate after a frustrating loss to Michigan State, no matter how controversial Ezekiel Elliott and Cardale Jones "going pro" comments were after the game. Meyer's a master motivator. This team will have their ears pinned back, especially with their College Football Playoff hopes still alive. Michigan's dream season under Harbaugh will come crashing back to reality.
