A strong and resilient defensive unit has been the Ohio Bobcats’ saving grace all season and the group awaits its toughest challenge in the MAC Championship game against 13th-ranked Western Michigan at 7 p.m. Friday at Ford Field in Detroit (ESPN2).

Nobody has been able to stop the undefeated Broncos (12-0) this season. They went 8-0 in the MAC Western Division while boasting one of the highest-powered offenses in the nation, averaging a robust 44.8 points per game.

Broncos senior quarterback Zach Terrell boasts a pristine 30-to-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio this season. He has thrown for 3,086 yards and completed nearly 72 percent of his pass attempts.
