I’m not the biggest fan of re-grades, typically. Grading past drafts are good, but if your first grade was based on projected talent and your latest is anything other than a grade of where we are now, in my view you’re doing it wrong.
Even still, a grade three years in is a good time to get a real feel for how a team performed in a given draft. All players have had a chance to reach their potential by that point, and have at least one more year on the rookie contracts.
Sports Illustrated’s Chris Burke took a look back at how each team drafted in 2014 and as you might suspect, the Raiders scored quite well.
