The Raiders are reportedly “willing to walk away from a potential deal” with Marshawn Lynch.
That’s the way MMQB’s Albert Breer put it Thursday in a few notes he wrote on the Oakland native’s ongoing contract discussion with the Raiders.
“Maybe the Raiders are bluffing, but my understanding is that as much as they liked meeting with Marshawn Lynch, and were impressed with the shape he’s in, it was communicated they’re willing to walk away from a potential deal,” Breer wrote. “The draft would seem to provide a natural deadline, particularly because of the strength of this year’s running back class.
