Report: LB Jelani Jenkins will visit Raiders

ALAMEDA — Jelani Jenkins, an outside linebacker who struggled through an injury-prone 2016 season in Miami, will visit the Raiders this week, according to an ESPN News report Monday morning.

Jenkins, 25, is a four year-veteran who played in nine games with seven starts last season, was listed on the injury report at various times with groin, knee and hand injuries.

Since free agency began, the Raiders have added three offensive players in tackle Marshall Newhouse, wide receiver/return specialist Cordarrelle Patterson and tight end Jared Cook.

Jenkins’ best season was in his second year as a fourth-round draft pick out of Florida when he had 110 tackles, 3.
