Raiders RB Murray's ill-timed turnovers 'hurt us a lot'

CHICAGO – Latavius Murray hasn’t played many NFL games. Most of them have been positive experiences, with solid performances as the norm over his young career.

Sunday’s effort does not belong in that category. This was a showdown Murray would rather forget. The third year pro averaged just 3.1 yards per carry, was a non-factor in the passing game and made two massive mistakes in a 22-20 loss to the Chicago Bears and Soldier Field.

He let a Derek Carr pass clank off his chest and get intercepted in the first half, and fumbled an easy pitch in the fourth quarter.
