Forbes Magazine releases an annual list of the most valuable sports teams in the world, and since the list includes teams from all sports, it’s typically a big deal to be included within the top 50. The Oakland Raiders have been on the outside looking in for quite some time now, but thanks to an improved on-field product, they’re finally in the mix.
According to Forbes, the Raiders rank as the 34th most valuable team in sports, with an estimated valuation of $2.1 billion. That’s a significant increase of 47 percent from the year prior, and only one other team in the Top 50 enjoyed a larger increase year over year.
