The Oakland Raiders will be making the 2017 NFL preseason debut at home tonight against the Los Angeles Rams. You better believe that the Coliseum will be rocking. The Silver and Black are back and this team can go as far as it wants to this season.
After seeing a handful of star players held out of the first preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals, nearly all the big time players will be showcasing their skills in front of the home crowd tonight. However, this exhibition contest will not be without a few guys being held out.
Here are the handful of Raiders that will not be dressing on Saturday night versus the Rams:
- Gareon Conley, cornerback
- Ben Heeney, linebacker
- Cooper Helfet, tight end
- Denver Kirkland, offensive lineman
- Keith McGill, safety/special teams
- Jihad Ward, defensive tackle
It might only be six guys, but a few of those names should be concerning.
