Promising Oakland Raiders tight end Clive Walford will be making national NFL headlines today for all of the wrong reasons as the 2015 third round pick will miss part of the team’s offseason program after injuring himself in an ATV accident.
According to reports on Tuesday morning, Walford required surgery after being involved in an ATV crash earlier this offseason in an incident that was kept under wraps. The injury being serious enough to cause Walford to miss the entirety of the Raiders spring practices, but not serious enough to cause the tight end to miss training camp as he is expected to make a somewhat quick recovery from minor knee surgery.
