Oakland Raiders looking to find the long ball

Oakland Raiders' quarterback Derek Carr let it fly once Sunday in a mostly disappointing offensive performance during the 18-13 loss at Detroit.

Carr's lone deep throw ended up being the Raiders’ highlight of the day. On the first offensive play of the second half, with the Raiders’ trailing 9-0, Carr hit receiver Seth Roberts for a 43-yard pass play. It set up the Raiders’ only touchdown of the game.

Wednesday, Oakland offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave addressed the need for more big plays by an offense that had more than its share during Weeks 7-9 when it scored 105 points.
