With the first roster cutdown date looming – teams must be down to 75 players by September 1 – the Oakland Raiders are going to have some tough decisions to make. They have a roster brimming with talented players, most of whom can make solid contributions to this team. But they can only carry 53 men on the active roster into the regular season, so some of them are going to have to go.
Realistically, most of the roster is pretty well set. The coaches already know who is going to make up a very good portion of that 53 man roster.
