ALAMEDA, Calif. -- It’s true, the Oakland Raiders ended their 16-game losing streak in the Eastern time zone with last year’s 27-20 victory at the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 27.
Then they proceeded to lose at the Pittsburgh Steelers and at the Detroit Lions in November.
In short, the Raiders are 1-18 in games played three time zones away since 2009, getting outscored by a cumulative 548-336. In fact, they are 1-19 including their 38-14 loss to the Miami Dolphins in London in 2014, if you want to get persnickety about things.
