Donald Penn, the most tenured offensive lineman on the Oakland Raiders and the blindside protector of Derek Carr, recently appeared on NFL Total Access. On the show, he provided a notable update on the recovery of Oakland’s franchise quarterback.
“I texted Derek two days ago and asked how he was doing, checking in, and he said ‘I’m almost 100 percent,'” Penn said.
David Carr, Derek’s brother and an analyst for the NFL Network, also provided an update:
