BREAKING: NFL Owners Approve Raiders’ Relocation To Las Vegas 31-1

NFL owners officially approved the Raiders move to Las Vegas on Monday in a vote of 31-1, according to Adam Schefter.

Schefter adds that the only owner who opposed the move was Stephen Ross of the Dolphins.

The expectation had been that the Raiders had the necessary 24 votes to make the move to Las Vegas and recent attempts by the city of Oakland didn’t live up to the league’s expectations for a deal that would keep the franchise in the Bay Area.

Las Vegas agreed to pay a staggering $750 million towards a stadium project to go along with another $200 million to improve the area surrounding the stadium site.
