Amari Cooper: ‘Anytime you have multiple drops, it’s a big deal’

ALAMEDA — Amari Cooper is hard on himself and he’s as unhappy as anybody that he ranks second in the league with 10 dropped passes.

“Anytime you have multiple drops, it’s a big deal,” Cooper said Wednesday, his first time speaking to the media since catching just one pass for four yards in Sunday’s loss at Detroit.

“It’s definitely a big deal. When you’re a receiver, you’re supposed to catch the ball. So yeah, you just have to go back to the drawing board, eliminate the drops and move forward.”

The Raiders offense has hit a lull as a whole, averaging just 13.
