Raiders News: Owner Mark Davis "Committed" To Relocating Team To Las Vegas

Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis is reportedly "committed and resolute" on his desire to relocate the team to Las Vegas, according to Nevada governor Brian Sandoval:

The Raiders have asked the city to commit at least $750 million to building a stadium for the team, and local leaders have already approved that amount in public funds for the project.

Oakland is eligible to relocate after the 2016 season, but there are a few potential holdups. First, the NFL has to approve the move, which has created much debate among owners about whether it's a good market for a professional sports team and about gambling.

Another roadblock could be Casino mogul Shel Adelson, who is helping to facilitate the potential move. He reportedly expects to receive some share in the team, but Davis is unwilling to less any part.

"Davis has no intention of selling a portion of the Raiders to anyone, and called Adelson’s office angry with the request by Adelson" Bleacher Report's Jason Cole said.
