Veteran’s Minicamp is the first chance for the bulk of a team’s roster to get a feeling out process with the coaching staff, particularly in the case of a team like the 2015 Oakland Raiders who have an entirely new staff in place with the hiring of Jack Del Rio as head coach this winter. Making the past week an opportunity for the Raiders players to get a taste of how Training Camp and the rest of the season will be before the 2015 NFL Draft selections are made to throw the rookies into the mix.
That process has been a positive one in Oakland, with players and coaches going through the honeymoon period as of now.
